ST. GEORGE FIL-AM CHOIR

The St. George Filipino American Choir was formed, recognized and was able to serve St. George Parish in 1996, under the leadership of Aurora Guanlao and Renato Sacramento, as music ministry coordinator.

In 1998, Nina De Jesus took over as the choir director and with Jun Aguilar who sings tenor/base and also accompanies the choir with his guitar.

The choir is still very active in giving their support, sacrifices, dedications, and commitment in the ministry. They practice on Thursday evening from 7-9pm, and sings at least twice a month at the Sunday liturgies. They were also invited to sing with other Filipino choirs to celebrate Sto. Nino, Simbang Gabi, thanksgiving mass for former Philippine Pres. Corazon Aquino at the St. James Cathedral. The choir was also invited to sing for special liturgies such as confirmation, Feast of Guadalupe.

Come and join us in the fellowship of singing to the Lord!
