St. Vincent de Paul

St. Vincent de Paul

The St. Vincent de Paul Society, founded in 1833, is a worldwide charitable organization. Spirituality is the first objective of the Society. Our primary purpose is to bring the love and peace of Christ to our needy neighbors.

The Saint George Conference of St. Vincent de Paul is organized to assist people in the St. George parish area.

People of the parish contribute funds to help our local neighbors in need. The members who visit are all volunteers. The volunteers respond to calls neighbors make to the St. Vincent de Paul Main Office at 5950 – 4th Ave. S.206-767-6449

If you would like to know more about the Society’s work, you can call the parish office or Marian Wolfe. We are always in need of volunteers to make home visits and perform other tasks to help our needy neighbors.

Meetings are the first and third Wednesdays of every month from 6:30 to 7:30 pm in the St. Clare room. All are welcome to participate.
